HOW I WOULD BOOK : USO VS PUNK SNME

At Saturday Night Main Event CM Punk and Jey Uso will collide for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship. Due to injury Seth Rollins had to relinquish the championship, and now Punk, who was the number one contender and Uso, who won a battle royal will fight for the belt. So how should Triple H and company book this match? Let’s go through options and I will tell you how I would go about it. 

PUNK WINS : When Punk won the title at Summerslam it felt like the decade in the making it was until Rollins cashed in his Money In The Bank and it vanished. Punk winning would be a nice moment, but it wouldn’t feel the same because he didn’t beat Rollins for the belt. Punk winning would be a joyous moment for a lot of people in the WWE universe.

USO WINS : Jey Uso won the title at Wrestlemania and to be honest I felt his reign was not great. Jey has had a phenomenal year first by winning the Royal Rumble, and then the World title at Mania and has stayed in the “Main Event” scene most of the year. They’ve been teasing a Jey heel turn for a bit now, including having some call him baby Roman, but does he need the title again? 
HOW I BOOK IT: Let me start by saying this is not what I would’ve done. Yes, Punk was the number one contender, but I wouldn’t have him fight Uso, I would’ve had either LA Knight or Bron Breakker win the battle royal. I would have either Breakker along with Bronson Reed interfere, causing a no contest. Now you’re thinking what happens with the title, that’ simple Survivor Series takes place on November 29th. At Survivor Series in Wargames the title will be on the line when Breakker, Reed and whoever else is selected will take on Punk, Jimmy and Jey Uso, LA Knight and Roman Reigns with the individual who scores the pinfall or submission the new World Heavyweight Champion.
