BY MARK HALPERN Throughout history, we have seen some amazing things happen from last-minute 60+ yard field goals, Hail Mary 65+ yards for a TD and the win, Interception return for a touchdown in the waning seconds, or even just a plain old upset. For the Detroit Lions this weekend, this game should be aContinue reading “IT’S A TRAP GAME”

A FIGHT TO THE VERY END
By Mark Halpern This past weekend, the Detroit Lions played the most exciting game of the week when they faced off against the Chargers. I had said how crucial it would be for the Lions to come out victorious, and they did by three points. This game meant a lot, not just for standings butContinue reading “A FIGHT TO THE VERY END”
A MUST WIN FOR THE LIONS
By Mark Halpern There are games where you can say you can lose and be all right. However, this game is more critical for the Lions because of what it can do for them in the standings. This week, the Lions take on the Chargers, who have a talented offense, but their Defense needs toContinue reading “A MUST WIN FOR THE LIONS”

While the season is stillContinue reading “DISTANCING THEMSELVES”
JUNGLE RULERS
BY Mark Halpern The Lions faced the Carolina Panthers this past weekend, and from the kickoff, it was all about the Lions. The Lions were unanimous favorites against the Panthers and didn’t disappoint. Jared Goff, time and time again this season, has shown us why we all need to believe in this team. Goff hadContinue reading “JUNGLE RULERS”
RUMBLE IN THE JUNGLE
by Mark Halpern Once a week, you can make a metaphor about a game being played. The Lions will face off against the Panthers Sunday in what should be another chance to show why they are Kings of the Jungle cats when they face a team’s 0-4 kittens. The Lions have had a great startContinue reading “RUMBLE IN THE JUNGLE”
THE KING OF THE DEN

Once again this season, the Lions have proved it is not a joke, and everyone is starting to take notice of that 3-1 record. The LionsContinue reading “THE KING OF THE DEN”
