One of the worst things in sports is the injuries. Whether you support a team or root against them, you never want to see a guy get hurt. Unfortunately for the New York Giants, they’ve lost their Quarterback Jaxson Dart for the season. On the opening drive on Monday the Rams Defense got to him cleanly and laid a massive sandwich tackle. If you were watching you knew Dart was done for some period of time.
Today the coach of the Giants John Harbaugh confirmed what a lot of us suspected and that is Dart will miss the rest of this year. The injury looked worse than what it was but, Dart sustained MCL and PCL tears in his knee (ACL is intact) and is going to miss the entire season. Dart was poised to have a big year and unfortunately New York Giants fans will have to wait till next year to see Dart.
As for now the Quarterback will be Jameis Winston who was putrid on Monday night. Look for the Giants to add at least Quarterback to the team because right now if Winston goes down and the ball was snapped there is no one there to snap it to.
