ROMO OUT AT CBS
BY MARK HALPERN I have been a Dallas Cowboy fan for over 40 years now. I have lived through the scandals and drugs in the 90’s and then all the issues in the early 2000’s. After the 2003 draft, the Cowboys signed an undrafted Quarterback named Tony Romo out of Eastern Illinois.Romo, was a BillContinue reading “ROMO OUT AT CBS”
PORTER TO THE COWBOYS
By Mark Halpern The Dallas Cowboys have shown some improvement on both sides of the ball but the secondary is still dealing with mounting injuries and lack of leadership. Late last night the Dallas Cowboys traded a 2027 6th round pick and a 2028 2nd round pick to the Steelers for one of the bestContinue reading “PORTER TO THE COWBOYS”
MV-PCA : WHAT A SEASON
By Mark Halpern As a TRUE die-hard Mets fan I think back to that gloomy day at the end of July in 2021, when the Mets made the trade that sent Pete Crow-Armstrong to the Chicago Cubs for Javier Baez and Trevor Williams. The Mets were making a push at the trade deadline and neededContinue reading “MV-PCA : WHAT A SEASON”
DART UNFORTUNATELY DONE
BY MARK HALPERN One of the worst things in sports is the injuries. Whether you support a team or root against them, you never want to see a guy get hurt. TOUGH LOSS
BY MARK HALPERN The Lions took on the heavy Superbowl favorites the Buffalo Bills this past week and put up a good fight. The first half was all Buffalo. Josh Allen put on a show by not just throwing 3 passing TD’s and ran in 2 by himself (final stats by games end.) Allen alreadyContinue reading “TOUGH LOSS”
HOG TIED
BY MARK HALPERN The Cowboys lost their season opener to the Giants. Their home opener was also against a division rival, the Washington Commanders, and the Cowboys couldn’t afford to go 0-2. This was Dallas’s home opener. The Cowboys showed some life during the Giant game but, not what we envisioned at all. The CommandersContinue reading “HOG TIED “

TO GRADE OR NOT TO GRADE
BY MARK HALPERN When baseball cards were introduced, there were no grading services to determine how good a card was. Let’s face it most cards that came out of packs (because of the way kids ripped them) would have been hard to problem see a mint 9 or higher. Cards made back then were flimsy,Continue reading “TO GRADE OR NOT TO GRADE”
